Cool Chain Excellence Awards
Every January, outstanding contributions in temperature control logistics and QA are recognised at the industry's only awards for the pharmaceutical cold chain industry. The Cool Chain Excellence Awards are open to temperature control professionals world-wide in the pharmaceutical and life science industries.
Nominations are made by the industry, for the industry. The awards not only recognise achievements above and beyond the call of duty, but also promote and contribute to driving industry best practices in temperature control distribution. Aim of Cool Chain Logistics Europe Excellence Awards
When individuals or teams work hard improve certain aspects of the cold chain, it's an honour to not just be paid for the work, but to be recognised for those achievements. The Cool Chain Logistics Europe Excellence Awards have been designed to highlight key achievements made within companies and within the cold chain industry that produce outstanding results and furthers the definition of best practice.
For the Cool Chain Logistics Europe 2013 Excellence Awards. Before the January conference, the cool chain community at large will have a chance to cast a vote online.

Kuehne+Nagel - Global Cold Chain Training to Improve Patient Safety
Hoffmann La Roche asked all of its 3PLs to do roll out Cold Chain Training. K+N is the first external logistics supplier to execute the CCT on a global basis outside of Roche. The training programme, when completely rolled out through all of Kuehne + Nagel's GLOBAL PHARMA NETWORK, at more than 60 locations around the world, will enhance understanding of cold chain handling and benefit all of their pharma customers. By November 2011, 555 participants received the CCT training by K+N over 60 seminars. At the end of the day, this will help patients receive quality medicines. The training at K+N has opened lines of communication between the two companies that enable continuous process improvement.

Advanced Air Freight Active Container for all Temperature Ranges
The RAP e2 container draws on the benefits of the already established and proven electrical heating and compressor cooling technology. The RAP e2 container is an innovative solution that offers reduced shipping costs while still providing the same high level of quality.
